NYC Financial District Meeting Space

For this financial establishment situated in a historically significant building in New York City, the aim was to preserve the rich history while also reflecting the institution's identity as a modern and ever-changing organization. The guiding concept behind the design was “old meets new.” In the older spaces, this translated to retaining the intricate crown moldings, trim, and door details to keep the historical charm intact. For the areas that underwent a complete transformation during the renovation, a more modern approach was adopted, with a careful infusion of traditional detailing to maintain a harmonious balance.

The decor and artwork throughout the spaces were meticulously hand-selected from the institution’s library of artifacts, adding a personalized touch that resonates with the organization’s heritage. A notable feature is the integrated art rails in the walls, providing a flexible and movable system for hanging artwork with vertical rods. This adds a dynamic visual element but also aligns seamlessly with the overarching design concept, symbolizing adaptability and evolution.
