  • CBH Interiors is a boutique, full-service interior design studio based in Jersey City. We help residential and commercial clients create contemporary spaces with clean lines that still feel warm, welcoming, and personal.

  • You'll work directly with our principal designer, Carissa Byrne Hebert, who has more than 15 years of experience in commercial and residential interior design. Carissa is also a busy mom and entrepreneur, so she understands how valuable your time is.

  • We serve Jersey City, Hoboken, and the Greater NYC area. This includes many northern New Jersey suburbs in Hudson county as well as Essex, Morris and beyond.

  • Our signature look is modern and contemporary, with clean lines and a cozy feel. Every project is personalized, though. We get to know your taste and lifestyle so the space reflects you.

Design Services

  • We work with three types of clients:

    • Homeowners: interiors that tell your story, from wallpaper and furnishings to full gut renovations.

    • Developers: fresh, market-savvy interiors that resonate with buyers and renters while respecting timelines and budgets.

    • Commercial clients: workplaces, amenity spaces, and hospitality environments that enhance productivity, customer experience, and brand identity.

  • We handle the details from concept to finishing touches, including:

    • Electrical, lighting, and ceiling plans

Our Design Process

  • Our 4-step process is:

    1. Research: a complimentary 15-minute discovery call, followed by a two-hour site visit where we define goals, scope, vision, and budget.

    2. Development: we bring in trusted trades as needed and create layouts and design schemes for your approval.

    3. Procurement: we place orders and kick off construction, providing a clear list of deliverables and dates.

    4. Installation: furniture is placed, the space is styled, and everything is buttoned up. Then it's time for champagne!
